Art Kit Giveaway, July 2020
July 25, 2020Wednesday, July 22, 2020, TES took our efforts to the Detroit Public Library, Wilder Branch on 7 Mile and Van Dyke in Detroit. The Art Kit Giveaway provided 50 families with art tools for their children; aimed to promote creativity and productive play during the pandemic. These art kits were built to promote multiculturalism, as they embodied different shades of brown markers, coloring pencils, and crayons to promote racial equality and allow children the opportunity to own art tools that reflect all shades of the color of their skin. The kits also contained healthy construction paper, glue, composition notebooks, coloring pages and healthy snacks.
